Yes, it's London about 6 years ago. About time they updated things! Alot's been built recently.

Why on earth would a sitcom set in London have views of a US or Canadian city?

I am with you, how can ANYONE with a functioning brain think it is "Probably a US or Canadian" City. It's a British show, set in London, what possible reason could they have for showing link shots of Toronto or Chicago?

Rather like someone wondering of Friends, whether texture shots were of Manchester or Delhi, but probably Paris.

They're among my favourite parts - I'm not a Londoner, I'm Irish and I live in Manchester, but I love London, so I freeze frame and try to work out where it is, where I've been etc.

Yes it's London, but apparently in one episode there is a very brief shot of Kuala Lumpur, Lee Mack said on one of the "extra content" shows on the DVD (although he may have been joking!).

Of course it's London. You've got the Gherkin regularly, and the HSBC tower at Canary Wharf, then there's the Cannon Street to London Bridge railway link, and of course the Millenium Wheel, all well known features of Toronto, INNIT?!!!?




If it's a boy, do you think it will look like Rodney? It doesn't matter as long as it's healthy!
