This made me think of an episode I saw recently on 'Lt. Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter'. An elderly Black woman was found dead in her house on the floor. Lt Kenda was going over the crime scene when they came across her couch covered with newspapers. After moving them they found a body neatly covered up and tied with ropes. After finding out she had a sister the police thought it was a double homicide of 2 seniors. They also found out someone had been cashing the social security checks belonging to the sister on the couch for a long time. Neighbors hadn't seen the woman for a long time. Turns out the sisters only income was their checks. The one on the couch passed away likely from natural causes and the surviving sister ,needing money, didn't report the death. She was in bad health and ended up on the floor where she too passed.


The truth of life has been revealed.
