Peter and Alicia are both adults. From the very beginning of this series Peter has been unable to truly commit to her, other than for political reasons. I would have kicked his sorry ass to the curb, but that's her choice to stay and she uses him just as much as he uses her. I guess that's a modern day, very sad love story and I've doubted for a while that there isn't any love there anymore. They just use and abuse each other.

As far as I know having an affair is not a legal crime, otherwise Peter would be in prison a very long time ago. Peter believes in God while Alicia does not.. so which one is the guiltier party in your eyes?
