Hey guys I was wondering if someone would be willing to record themselves watching the show, ideally with a friend or two, and show me how you're enjoying it, what things make you laugh etc. A youtube-style reaction video of sorts
I watch this show and it's alright - I guess - but it's just not very funny. I'm not sure if it's meant to have a really slow pacing of jokes or if it's too subtle or what but I just don't see what the point of the show is if it isn't funnier. They seem to have put a bunch of effort into it and it seems to have a big following online what with the episodes being available in SD, 720 and 1080 on torrents but I really don't understand it. I get the idea that repetition is funny and then can cease to be funny and then starts being funny again but I still don't understand the obsession with the word 'gear'. I'm not talking about the microphone yells - those kind of work and aren't overused but there's so many other lines where as best as I can tell the only joke is that he's said the word gear again. Similar to the Fry Caramba bit with the counter.
So yeah, obviously I don't get it and the show isn't for me (although something made me stick through all 10 episodes despite my having a short attention span) but I'm really curious to see how and where other people are enjoying it. Maybe I'll learn something.
