Timeless : Bowie was no hero

Why was Bowie in the Alamo episode portrayed as a hero? He was a slave trader and he killed Native Americans. The fact they made him sem like this nice guy is an insult to the slaves he traded and the real Americans he killed

I am having trouble with the way they betray some of the historical figures on the show as well, Ford, JP morgan, Edison. All evil men.

Thank you for clarifying the names. I knew it was someone tied to a rather large business. I do hope that the Titanic episode as the rest of the season will be good. I'm excited to see how they wrap up the season eventually and if they were to get another season, it would be fascinating to figure out what other moments in history they would act out.

And the 'real Americans' were little more than a pest to begin with. They just sat around totempoles screaming incomprehensible garbage, hunting Bison and slept in tents. And now they get to run the USA's casino's. That's more than they would ever have accomplished without the Europeans.

Right you are, they should have welcomed the invaders who were hell-bent on destroying them with open arms!

They were entirely within their rights to kill every single invader to their lands. Too bad they didn't have the means to do it.
