The Exorcist : Very satisfying

Yes, I know we were all being emotionally manipulated when the whole family was praying, and I get that was done to create more drama for Marcus' story with the Pope.

But I don't care. It worked. I actually teared up a bit.

If there's no season two, then I'm happy with how this ended. And if there is, it looks like it will follow Marcus and Tomas, and the Satan worshippers will be back, too. And Bennet, which is good. I like him.

All in all, a good ten episodes of TV.

Agreed. Although I hope it does get renewed and given a better time slot (not Friday night), or netflix.

hell if they add more mythology with season 2, hell I would be shocked if they bring in the gemini killer back from the grave

I'm glad Bennet made it. Though my DVR screwed up and I only caught the last twenty minutes, so I'm gonna have to go watch it on Netflix or Hulu or whatever to get the rest.

Emotional? Did we really watch the same episode? They must have shown me something completely different because what I saw was terrible. It was cheesy, predictable and added up to nothing in the end.

Says you all I have heard from word of mouth is how this show has steamrolled each week into more suspenseful and brutal horror series. The production values and direction where superior and it showed.

i was very afraid that one of the Rance's was going to be killed. thankfully i was wrong! their praying together was a tiny bit cheesy but easily forgivable. the rest of the ep was fantastic!

For a moment I thought one of them would get killed also.

Especially during the scene with the hammer and Kat smashed it into her own leg.

I'm glad the Rance family survived

same here almost in tears when Tomas became an Exorcist.

a proper ending. it can end here, or even start off with a slight story arc involving different demons- both possibilities are real

the best scene of the last episode was when Marcus says that he 'saw the entire elephant', as a 12 yr old. That scene was too powerful.

I re-watched that scene twice. It showed how badass Father Marcus is.

and how good an actor the person playing the character is

obviously.
