I mean I kind of wish they'd try but seriously how easy do conservatives already make it for liberals to make fun of them and tear their arguments to shreds? Would I watch a conservative comedy late night talk show? Of course not. I'll just watch it on The Daily Show, The Nightly Show, Full Frontal, The Late show and Last Week Tonight (if I had HBO). Conservatives are stupid, but they're clearly not stupid enough to think that they could be funny. The reason most comedians are liberal is because conservatives are just so gawd dawn easy to laugh at.

Um liberals are far stupider than conservatives. Letting in a bunch of radicals into your country to loot and rob your civilians is far stupider than any conservative I've seen.

See? That just isn't funny.

Liberals aren't funny either. You would have to be brain damaged to find Samantha bee,Trevor Noah or Larry Wibore funny.

If Hilary gets elected, conservatives will finally, truly deserve to have their own version of Jon Stewart.

I dont think the question should be when will conservatives get a show but more when will Liberals start being original. These shows are all the same, Liberal hosts, Liberal audience, Liberal writers, Liberal guests, making fun of Republicans. Because the Left is so serious and above humor, I mean who would find humor in;

Hillary Lying about her emails, using different accents in front of different groups, coughing fits, dressing like Mao, not talking to the press, being married to a sex predator who took trips to Orgy Island, her marriage, how people always wind up dead who fall out of grace with her, turning $10k into $100k in cattle futures she knew nothing about, being paid millions from Wall Street, not releasing her WS tapes, the Clinton foundation being nothing more than a pay for play scam.

Or Bernie Sanders, rape porn, taxing the middle class into extinction, Socialism, free everything, honeymooning in the old Soviet Union, did I mention taxing the middle class into extinction etc.

Thats just two people I wont even get into President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, all of MSNBC, Hollywood, University professors, University students etc. etc. etc.

I mean really I see no humor in any of that.

I think we have enough hate and trolling on the Internet as it is.

When will the conservatives get a show? When they get the funding and backing for it. Maybe a petition should be started or an online campaign for one or if you know someone who is a conservative that is a comedian, you both can work on one. As well as several other avenues that you may know about.

Isn't the point that not every liberal is funny (but some are) but almost no conservatives are funny (I can't think of one - maybe Dennis Miller sometimes)? One of the main differences between liberals and conservatives is that liberals can joke about themselves more easily. I have seen Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, etc. call out liberal politicians fairly often but no doubt they exist to call out conservatives. Conservative values are fine but to be considered a true conservative you have to be so extreme in your views. To be considered a true liberal is almost as ridiculous. Oh well, I'll just continue to vote for a mixture of Republican and Democrats who use common sense - a dying breed.

It wasn't so bad watching the Daily Show, or older Saturday Night Live political parodies (I'm old); at least the Daily Show - while not "equal," wasn't so biased that it didn't recognize the idiocy of liberals and democrats on occasion.

This show is terrible it's as if the democrats can simply do no wrong. I watched expecting to see a lot of conservative and republican bashing but that's ALL it was.

Conservatives have tried their own version of The Daily Show.

They're all cancelled before a second season.

You republicans think tearing down the little guy is good comedy. You're cruel people, deep down, and that just doesn't translate well to comedy. Not to comedy that appeals to anyone but you and folks who are just as cruel.

Liberals who keep saying there are no funny conservatives are too stupid to have ever heard of people like PJ O'Rourke.

PJ O'Rourke is hilarious. Always a good time when he stops by Bill Maher's show.

Turn on the radio for the comedy stylings of Laura Schlessinger, Laura Ingraham, and my all time favorite, RUSH LIMBAUGH! He always puts a smile on my face when he says things like:

If I really want to laugh, I listen to Sean Hannity. That jingoistic meathead is a true believer. He is also a kiss-a$$ extraordinaire. In the last few months, I have heard him shamelessly and embarrassingly kissing the a$$es of Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Donald Trump, among many others. In addition, he loves taking calls from pre-screened "liberals" who are always inarticulate and addle-headed, often with accents that sound African American, then interrupting, insulting, and hanging up on them. Then he goes off on how "brain-dead, and lacking in facts" liberals are. Check out pretty much every conservative poster on any website. If the words "Democrat" or "liberal" come up, then "Brain-dead" and "no facts" are the conservative "Polly Want a cracker" response. I will not insult parrots by comparing them to Hannity. He is not even a birdbrain; he's a flea-brain. But pretty funny to listen to, in a sad way.

Note, IMDb conservatives, I, a liberal, listen to conservative talk shows and read conservative websites. As far as I can tell, very few fervent IMDb conservatives actually watch more than the first few minutes of anything their fainthearted sensibilities tell them is liberal, though they do love to comment nevertheless.

that is simply not true, all those shows portray current events and politics in a humorous way; the fact that almost all material makes fun of conservatives has to do with how conservatives act and what they say and not with the perceived agenda those shows have in your opinion..those shows make fun of liberals as well if they provide them with good material (think antony weiner) but liberals rarely provide better material then conservatives.u just wont hear hillary saying: "oh i think im humble, in fact u cudnt understand how humble i am"; or within 2 sentences claiming that his vp shudnt be held accountable for voting on iraq while hillary shud - liberals just dont say stupid things like that and are generally way less hypocritical

There are really no quality shows for either side of the aisle. Just "unofficial" spokespeople for either major party.

Conservatives have tried. The half hour news hour was an attempt. Everything about it looked forced and contrived. Beyond this, liberals and libertarians by definition hold less sacred then conservatives, and are thus able to make fun of more things, and to "go there." Such is required for good comedy. I've watched intentional conservative comedy. It's like walking on eggshells, or preaching while making a funny face.
