My biggest complaint with the show is the casting as well. What a major let down for preacher comic fans who have been waiting for this for a long time

Absolutely love the show. No problem with the casting except for not understanding a word the vampire says.

(but for the record: the poster may just not have seen the actual world and only gets his ideas from things like movies, which have historically always been really terrible about typecasting and presenting a false narrative. I'm willing to give the OP a pass and just assume they're young/naive and don't know any better is all - it's kinda easy to get the impression that all Irish people actually talk like leprechauns and there aren't different dialects, for example, if you've only watched movies and such and don't know any better)

I've noticed liberals that live in all white gated communities love to prattle ceaselessly about diversity.

Are you honestly trying to suggest that liberal policies (as opposed to "conservative" ones) are what's keeping minorities from living in affluent neighborhoods? Or are you just suggesting liberals are hypocrites because some of them are wealthy (and completely ignoring that many of them aren't)?

But the idea that minorities are less likely to live in these wealthy communities and wealthy people want to live in these wealthy communities may be inter-related matters but it doesn't suggest the causality that you're implying.

If you want to make fun of the "typical liberal" then maybe you should actually be poking fun of the wealthy guy living in that community that tries to make friends with the one black guy living in that gated community just so that they can say they have a "black friend." But yes, poor people are more likely to cause random crime - that's not a black or white issue, it's a wealth issue. Blacks have MUCH less money on average than whites in this country. Much of that has to do with the fact that wealth can get handed down and whites owned everything at the start of this country while minorities did not. There was a huge head start that whites had in that department.

I was actually born in a region of Pennsylvania with very few minorities. Wealthy people wouldn't dream of living next to the poorest people and their trailer parks (who were called "trailer trash"). These were white people and, yes, there was a lot more crime coming from this "trailer trash" than there was in the affluent neighborhoods.

Now if I was afforded the luxury to live in a gated community then I probably would! Most any reasonable person would, I suppose. But no, if in fact this gated community had actual rules about trying to keep out minorities then I would not.

But I certainly wouldn't live in the "ghetto" to try to live with minorities or whatever complete nonsense you seem to be offering up as an alternative. Seriously, what are you suggesting these "typical liberals" do? Are rich people not supposed to live in nice neighborhoods?

What is scary is that people like him exist. You never know when you'll meet one in public, but they will be looking you over and analyzing you.
