DC's Legends of Tomorrow : Seriously, professor Stein has a teenage daughter?

No offense to the actors who play Stein and his wife, but who are the kidding? Steins wife is well past child bearing age. Why couldn't the writers just give them an adult child. I know this this is the CW, but why does everybody seem to have a teen daughter. Very few people on the CW have teen sons. And yes I know people around the Steins age have children SOMETIMES, but the people are few and far between, and the odds of carrying a child to full term at their age is drastically low. Am I alone on this?

Well she isn't a teen she is an adult and they had her in the 80s after stein rsn into him self at the whitehouse.

She did mention spending 6 years at some college, which implies she's a adult at this point.

My fault. CW casting hires women who look like teens most of the time. And I admit I kind of dropped off on this show for the most part.

She is supposed to be in her late 20s. I was born in 1988, like a year after that episode took place and its assuming Stein knocked up his wife after talking to Old Stein. So she is 27 or 28.
