Need more Madeline

Showing off her body and boobs.

Re: Need more Madeline

Amanda Righetti is a smoke show. Total babe.

Re: Need more Madeline

Beyond that, they need to broaden the dramatic base of the show to include what's going on in the green zone and among the collaborationists.

I know it's only 3 seasons in, but it kind of feels like the character universe is kind of small, and way too much Will, Katie and Bram.

Re: Need more Madeline

With Nolan and Maddie positioned at the end of S1, I hoped that it would lead them to a sort of political storyline, with Nolan trying to become Proxy, and Maddie at his manipulating side. Now, three episodes in (and neither of them is going to be in episode 4 or 5, looking at the synopsises and promo pictures), we've barely seen them, and when they do appear it's about the cult stuff (which we know will turn out bad for Madelineit's a completely predictable storyline). What this show should do IMO is treat Will, Katie, Broussard, Bram and Madeline equally, to broaden, as you correctly put it, the dramatic base of the show. In my parallel universe, Righetti would play Katie, though.

Re: Need more Madeline

I thought S2E1 showed a lot of promise for increasing the scifi content of the show, but E2 & 3 seemed to just dive back into a lot of family drama and a slow pace.

And I'm not just hating on Sarah Wayne, either, although I do find her mannerisms grating. I'm just not all that interested in the family dynamics of the occupation. I tolerated it in S1 because the storyline moved at a rapid pace relative to the resistance.

But all the focus on Bram this season is starting to remind me of one of those teen science fiction movies like Maze Runner or Divergent. I really don't care for that direction, although maybe the focus groups have said "we need teen interest."

Re: Need more Madeline

I think the actor who plays Bram is the worst actor on the show. He's always seemed completely lifeless.

I don't think there's anything about the actor, character, or storyline that even remotely resembles something like that. There is a subplot that focuses on the teenager, so what? That is the only parallel. The style or tone is not similar to YA literature.

Re: Need more Madeline

Ep. 2 and 3 finally brought the whole "we need to go get Charlie" plotline to its final resolution. And there's a limited amount Will can do to get Bram back, so he's not going to end up replacing his younger brother in the same capacity. Will will inquire I'm sure, and be told that as long as Bram behaves himself and works hard he'll eventually be eligible for transfer back to the bloc, as Nolan put it (i.e. release). That'll leave us with the last remaining Season 1 loose end: Katie's involvement with the resistance and Jennifer knowing about it.

I have a feeling Will is going to go back in to homeland, and while he's in the middle of answering some hard questions someone will come in the room and announce that Our Hosts have asked to meet with Mr. Bowman today. Ep. 4 may be the one where we finally get to see what a Rap looks like. They really shouldn't drag their feet on this much longer anyway. We don't want to learn all their secrets at once, but this isn't Charlie's Angels and the aliens have been deliberately hidden from view long enough.

Re: Need more Madeline

Her character is pretty dull though. Maybe they can work on her being conflicted about this cult she has joined.
