Fuller House : Can the audience not shut up?
Re: Can the audience not shut up?
The second one seemed to be an improvement. Although I'm not a fan of over the top Fernando moving into the house.
Re: Can the audience not shut up?
Oh my gosh, I came on here to say the same thing! I'm only 10 minutes into the first episode of the new season and the audience is too much! I usually don't mind and laughter doesn't distract me, but it's all I keep hearing. Not to mention, the stuff they laugh at isn't even funny. It has to be a fake laugh track half the time.
The cheering was cute in the premiere of Season 1 because it was so nostalgic and new, but now it's just old.

I'm on the Thanksgiving ep now, with the full reunited cast. It's slowly moving, but I like the home feel to it
But the audience gets annoying.

Re: Can the audience not shut up?
You're not very familiar with Full House or any 90s sitcom are you?
I do agree the cheering needs to be toned down. We don't need it every time one of the characters walks on screen.
Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

Re: Can the audience not shut up?
I grew up on Full House. The cheering on Full House never got annoying. Here it's like the audience remembers how much the audience did it in Full House and so they need to one up it.
Re: Can the audience not shut up?
It's because without the fake prompted laughter by the audience, we'd never know when something was supposed to be funny.
Re: Can the audience not shut up?
It IS annoying but at least there's not sappy music playing every time the kids are sad and the adults teach them lessons at the end of EVERY episode that I can remember.
Re: Can the audience not shut up?
lol, the sappy music was one of Full House's trademarks. :)
OP: The only time I really get annoyed is when the audience "woooos" every time a couple kisses. It's like they've never seen anyone kiss before. It's so cringeworthy.

It's called Canned Laughter.
Re: Can the audience not shut up?
I went to a taping last year. The warm-up host will straight up throw things at you if you aren't loud enough. He says, "You're here to bring the cast energy and if you don't, we might as well do this without you," etc. He also gives away prizes to whoever is loudest. After four hours, everyone is trained to go berserk. But the attendees were all obsessed "Full House" fans with "Jesse & The Ripper" T-shirts and whatnot. Bob Saget made a guest appearance on the episode I saw and I thought heads were going to pop off of the women in my row. Nobody had to prompt them to scream for him.
Can the audience not shut up?
Also just me, or why do the first episodes of each season suck so bad? The firs episode of the new season was awful. Even just the technical side of it.The sound quality was so bad you could literally hear the echo of the studio they were in.
