La La Land : Not a big musical fan but watched this because of Whiplash and..

It was enjoyable, but not as memorable as Whiplash. It even had some mild similarities in the themes of "career dreams or relationships?", aside from the obvious jazz flavour. Emma Stone was by far the best thing about it, she put a lot in. Ryan Gosling's cool demeanor was less engaging but he did OK. It was a novel, light-hearted film that makes a nice change in these times of seriousness, but I think once the "novelty musical" hoohaa has died down it won't be remembered as a classic.

Fair enough you didn't like it (i did, a lot) but I must ask, if you think it sucks why have you seemingly watched it multiple times?!?! Also why have you made an imdb profile just to praise LaLaLand? Why not use your real one?

I know, I know, if we never replied to them their posts would drop off in to oblivion and normally I ignore them completely, but I can't help a bit of troll hunting when the mood takes me. I'm interested in an almost anthropological way as to why people out there make these weird profiles just to post nonsense on a particular film for what I presume to be hours a dayI guess these weirdos are drawn to the constant attention they can get anonymously on the internet.
