Assassin's Creed : run time way too short

this is clearly a movie that has been hacked up by the studio. Wouldn't be surprised if an extended director's cut comes out

They never confirmed an 2 hout long film. There is a very big chance the movie always was intended for 108 minutes. And I rather have a good 108 minutes movie than a another BvS one.

So many movies run too long these days. 108 mins sounds great.

Considering that 10 min. Will be at least for ending credits, the movie will last for an hour and a halftoo short.

Also,35% of the movie, will be past storyline and that would be like 30 min. of the movieit's like watching a simpsons episode (a way bit longer actually).

I hope, Justin Kurzel has planned an extended cut for DVD, considering the time he spent shooting the movie.

Kurzel already said that with out the credits the movie is 102 ( 1hour and 42 minutes) ,minutes long

Yes, with credits its cca 1H,50m which means 30 minutes were cut out and hopefully will be in some extended cut version.

It was never reported by people close to the film that it would be 2hr20min

Because Empire Cinemas firstly listed it on their official site as the movie's runtime, and cause they are the big cinema group, they seemed to be a trustful source. Especially because Ubi said that they've modelled AC after Batman Begins, which was 2h 20min long as well.

Nobody that worked on the movie ever said it would be more then 2 hours long. That where only rumors

Yes but Justin Kurzel said that many good things didnt get to the final cut version so hopefully they will include them somewhere :)
