I loved it, but the woman I saw it with is not a BB fan. I looked at her with a look of surprise when he said it, but she missed the reference completely.

Only a few laughs at that part (including mine) but wondered if the ones that didn't get it, were wondering what we were laughing at.

I just made the same comment on another thread. Probably my biggest laugh out loud moment of the entire film. The other 20 or so people in my theater didn't make a sound. Clearly an intentional reference.

Unfortunately probably no one at my screening got the reference as the room was quiet like never before.

Ive never seen Breaking Bad and even I got the reference and laughed at it. Nice subtle shout out without ruining it

Exact same thing with me. I have never seen Breaking Bad, but I got it right away - because even without seeing BB, the reference was everywhere for a couple of years, and attributed to Aaron Paul's character.

I got the chance to watch it last night and when Aaron Paul showed up, I whispered "Holy *beep* It's Jesse from Breaking Bad!" Plus it was funny seeing Thomas Kretchmann show up at the end
