This is old news. What's the point of posting it? Obviously, he wanted to do a sequel initially (in fact he wanted to do a trilogy) but it's up to Legendary not him and I'm sure it depended on whether the first one made them money or how well it did.

"No current plans" just means he hadn't heard anything as of last August.
