Good Girls Revolt : it's "The Newsroom" with a beautiful lead

I watched "The Newsroom" and loved it (one of my favorites), so I had hopes for this show - so much potential, but I'm 3 episodes in and it's a bit dull. The only thing keeping me watching is the beautiful lead - Genevieve Angelson - whose character is the only one so far who shows some grit.

Not related, but the editor's wife, played by Odelya Halevi, is OMG stunning!

I'll give the show a few more episodes and if the nap factor still remains, I'll probably finally try "Man in the High Castle" - I've heard good things about that one.

I just finished the series and, honestly, it only gets better as it goes along. Like you, I was also very fond of The Newsroom. It was a real shame that show didn't stay on the air.

I too, just finished the season, and you're right - it did get better. Storyline improved, characters developed - it's still a bit fluffy, but it was worth the 10hrs of my life. I look forward to the fallout from their "complaint" next season.

Yes, Genevieve is gorgeous, but I also think that Erin (Cindy) and Anna (Jane) are beautiful as well.

After over 11 years here, it still amazes me how so many of the threads on the IMDB boards are about how pretty the women are, which of the women in the show men would rather *beep* etc. instead of about the show itself.

I'll miss the boards, but I won't miss these predictable threads.
