Classic TV: The 60s : TV show in the '60's

TV show in the '60's

Maybe someone could help me remember what sit com I'm looking for. There is an automobile stopped to make a left hand turn and gets rear ended. The person that got rear ended states the car did have his blinker on. It was proved that the blinker was on but couldn't be seen because of the sun shining on it. If someone could help me I would be very appreciative. This is driving me CRAZY!

Re: TV show in the '60's

I think it was from The Andy Griffith Show. Don't know the name of the episode, though. It was one of those parallel stories in which Opie had done, or not done, something that Andy didn't believe him.

Re: TV show in the '60's

I don't think the Andy Griffith episode you cited is what the OP saw. I think the ep you're referring to is the one when Barney gives Gomer a ticket for making a U-turn. There was no accident. Later on in the ep, Gomer makes a "citizen's arrest" when Barney makes a U-turn himself.

Re: TV show in the '60's

I remember a Twilight Zone episode which sounds familiar.
