None of it really makes sense. Several times Phelan let himself into the flat to scare Steph but last night he had to ring the doorbell for Andy to let him in.
Although I never manged to work out why that flat has a front door upstairs AND downstairs at street level. And what's underneath it?

Surely Steph should have phoned Andy's mobile as soon as she knew that Phelan was aware that Andy was in the flat, to warn him to at least hide the laptop.

Steph is a mouthy cow, there is no way she would have just run of to Portugal so easily without a fight to Katy who just happens to put up anyone on t' cobbles at the drop of a hat. Steph also comes across as being quite self absorbed, I won't miss her.

I thought it was a little unrealistic too, even for Steph. Surely she would have contacted Andy somehow to warn him Phealan knew.

She's also left her brother at the mercy of Phelan living in the same flat. Some sister she is. I thought she was always looking out for him, trying to keep him away from trouble, now she's abandoning him.

Seems like the writers have taken the easy way out to write Steph out of it by just having her drop everything and going without thought for what her character would do.

I wonder if Steph was ever in love with Andy. She may have loved his company, having him around. I think she's too in love with herself to fall in love with anyone else. Plus, she's young and immature.
