Six : Keyboard Mall Ninjas….and Real Men who Serve.

I've been bled on, spit at cussed shot at, etc. I have held small children at 3 in the morning right after dad killed mom and decided to hang himself in the next bedroom, but turned on the water on the sink so manager would find them..all while the kids were asleep. I've seen body parts in all directions,people bleed out death, the ugliness of it, the indifference to it (to stay sane) , I have broken down on debriefing in private, crying in silence.
I am there on their worst day of heir lives, I see shock, pass out, nervous breakdown of families and I'm on a swivel cause you don't know if you are OK.
So when a guy who has 0 experience with this aspect of my life just throws his words around with no merit or respect..I just wish I had the chance to look at him in the eye.
The difference between him and I is he is never gonna put himself in those placeshe hides behind computer and thinks up ways to discredit or attack the very thing he fears most..his cowardice.
So the next time you call someone out, try it in person, the shadows move away from you and then we'll see.
This show still sucksbut this is for our fallen brother.

The difference between us is you brag about your experiences, real or imagined, 24-7. Cleary you need attention and awe from an IMDb message board. I think your post is as fake and made up as the Punisher.

On one hand, you say this post isn't directed at him. But then you end it with a note of him being called out and doing nothing, which contradicts your first statement and lends it to bring directed at him.

Why not just say that. He's the only one with whom you've had serious arguments.

From a woman's perspective, it's weirdly odd to see such an emotional passive aggressive attack from a man.

I was referring to my initial postnot the retort which did circle back and directed to him. I get how this might come off as passive aggressive however age is a factor as I get older I reflect on issues and try not to resort to my lower-conscioussness thinking which is knee-jerk responses on emotional levels..I wasn't bragging or trying to impress anyone, just tell8ng my story what it's like.
So if that's weird to you as a woman, so be it. Part of why I'm alive is reason and reflection in crisis. Most people run away from itI'm on autopilot running to it, like a drug adrenaline junkie.

What I've found oddly weird isn't just about you. It's how emotional this board is about issues. I was expecting a group of men to be a lot more logical and rational in discussions, which is what I am. I am a INTJ female. It's like having a calm, logical man's personality without the testosterone. I understand the complete calmness which comes on someone in intense situations. Instead, viewing this particular board, I've seen lashes of emotion, which surprise me.

My problem with someone being passive aggressive is that my personality has trouble respecting someone who attacks someone while trying to to appear that they are not. I respect a calm, direct confrontation. Then it's out there, and we can deal with it. I actually enjoy discussing on these boards, because emotion doesn't come into it for me.

But, I understand you feel differently. No problem.

You're a rare find of sanity in the shifting emotional whirlwind of words posted here.

I hate they're shutting the boards down. This was a great place to discuss shows and movies. I'm still deciding on a place to go. I'll drop a note when I do.

When you guys find a place, will you take me with you? I've been looking for another forum, but I'm going to miss the IMDb layout. (If it makes a difference, I'm borderline INTJ/P.)
