Scream Queens : the problem with Chanel's missive in Season 1

It *literally* mentioned a plan to murder Dean Munsch multiple times, and no real consequence?

This show does not take place in any type of universe that you and I know.

Well the show doesn't really portray the police as remotely resembling human intelligence.

But I suppose as she was still wealthy at the time, she could have it argued that it was just venting personal feelings rather than an actual plan.

I mean a lot of people do write about killing someone they don't like. Unless there actively planning it, it normally just makes the person dislike them.

Isn't that why her missive made the news. They never explicitly say,but that and her insults is what brought the backlash on Chanel.
