BritComs : thin blue line
Re: thin blue line
Loved them both, Blue line was better because of the great actors involved, but I still prefer the 4 seasons of Blackadder best of all. those guys were GREAT!

I have the dvd boxset of The Thin Blue Line, but I have never watched it. It's something I must get around to doing.

I like both but in different times and dosage, as a teenager Mr Bean was capable of putting me in fits of laughter where I could not breathe, but now a little older but none the wiser, the thin blue line pretty much makes me laugh out loud and I enjoy rewatching the episodes. Mr Bean still amuses me but I can't watch for very long..

Re: thin blue line
I loved The Thin Blue Line when I was growing up, but I watched it a couple of weeks ago for the first time in years, and I didn't enjoy it as much. Don't get me wrong, there are still a few funny moments but it wasn't as good as I remember.

Brilliant overlooked comedy. The social attitudes are also very 90s (Pat's New Age religions... Ladettes... coming out... multiculturalism as something new and exciting... PC Habib the original 'Hug a Hoodie')
Re: thin blue line
I totally agree. Posting about it makes me realize that I'm long overdue to rewatch the series.
