The Middle : April character is too stupid.

Darren wasn't a scholar but it was believable he could graduate hs. April is too dumb. Can't find bathroom? Doesn't know what lots of common things are? Nothing but annoying. She's like that dumb joey character on friends. Axl liked smart girls with something to say. He didn't like his hot dumb movie theater manager but now that he's older he's cool with a dimwit? Barf.

Brick is just as stupid and annoying.

I don't think Axl really love April. It just that April is just the rebound girl. I think Axl is with April because April is the exact of his ex girlfriend Devin.

..While Devin was intelligent and smart.
-April is dumb and clueless.

While Devin is independent and headstrong.
-April helpless and Needy.She needs Axl,and Axl like being needed.

April is just too much of a stereotype. I don't know if there is any person (sans brain injury) who is as ditsy as April.

There could be some twists:

- April is only pretending to be dimwitted in order to win over Axl.
- April uses her beauty to get things her way.

Of course, it could be that:

- April is REALLY dimwitted more than any other human in history.

It seems that Axl realizes his shocking mistake by the end of Season 8 Episode 8. Let's hope that it either never happened or gets annulled.

Axl's take: Crazy in the head; crazy in bed.

Basically, all the characters are annoying. That's not funny. It's like the difference between 'Lucky Louie' and 'Louie'. The first is a comedy. The second is a satire. This may be a satire, but the cast can't seem to pull it off.
