Tomorrowland : Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

Will enjoy this movie, which is why it failed at the box office.

Tomorrowland demonstrated to all of us that so many have lost that sense of wonder with the world. It needs to be reignited.

Re: Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

TOTALLY agree. It's not the world's best movie or anything, but creative and an entertaining ride, that points a finger at itself, explaining WHY some people disliked it.

Can't reignite. Too busy fighting and warring with others to think about not fighting and doing cooler things.

Or too busy wondering what Kim kardashian is wearing today

This *beep* is going to have nuts in it !!

Re: Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

I wonder how anyone actually got to the end of this mess. Really it should be insulting because it's assumes a high level of science ignorance on the part of the viewer.

Too true! and well said..

Re: Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

Wonder only goes so far, especially if you'e not a Clooney fan.

Re: Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

I finally saw this movie, and I think it had a very inspiring message for young people, one that could interest them in the sciences and engage them in caring about the planet's future. The ending also showed the connection between people of all ages, backgrounds, and interests, no matter where in the world they're from, and supports the view that everyone has something to contribute. It wasn't a perfect movie, but I thought it was great for those reasons. Beyond that, it showed how "broadcast negativity" does have a collective effect take a news break people! and, wonderfully, how a disillusioned adult could become re-inspired. I found it quite hopeful in the midst of our very unsettled times. It's disappointing that it didn't do better during its release. I hope kids do find it and take its empowering message to heart.

Re: Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

I think it's the opposite. It's what a uneducated person thinks is science and any kid that thinks that's how it works will get a rude awakening in school.

Re: Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

I think it's getting a bad rap from some people (like in this thread) that take the movie too seriously. This isn't a hardcore sci-fi flick and it seems many of the hardcore sci-fi fans are taking umbrage with many of the less believable aspect of the movie.

To me, that kind of misses the whole point of the movie to begin with, but to each their own. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and think it is vastly underrated.

Re: Only those that still have wonder in their heart. . .

What exactly is the point? It seems to only insult the intelligence of the audience.
