The Man in the High Castle : You are now entering the "Greater Nazi Reich" sign?

The NSDAP never referred to themselves as Nazis. It was a derogatory term. This whole series makes itself a laughing stock by using it. The producers should show some intellectual respect to the viewers.

True. But this is an alternate timeline and 17 years in the future. Maybe they decided to embrace the term.

I don't have a problem with the idea that the term Nazi might have become acceptable, but it should still refer to the Party, not places governed by it. The sign should have said "You are now entering the North American Reich". Still a very small complaint considering how good of a show it is.

Fair criticisms I guess, but @ the original poster, don't you think you're being a little dramatic?

It's a TV show, when have shows ever been 100% accurate? It's strictly entertainment, not a documentary.

Everyone that whines about this never explains why they would be offended by the term.

Yankee is a derogatory word used by the British to this day, yet NO ONE in The States cares.
