You have a point, but what makes it Left wing BS is that it is in the hands of Glenn Greenwald.
It is not that Greenwald is even a Leftist that bothers me he is a Leftist troublemaker that
throws in all this Palestinian stuff, and other things that do not really have anything to do with
Liberalism or Progressivism in other words, he is a phony in my opinion. He is trying to
make the Left look stupid, and make Snowden's information look Left, and discredit the whole
thing while giving out the least amount of information he can. Greenwald is slimebag in my

Not at all as far as this movie, it sucks, that is why I "criticized" him.
The movie sucks and has NO information content except for in about
4 minutes, but still he does not go into or share any of the documents
Snowden appropriated.

Having said that, you don't steal classified secrets and sell them to the highest bidder if you want to claim innocence in the matter. That's what spies do.

Surveillance is a deterrent, but not if you send the goddamn enemy the enigma code. What Snowden did is akin to sabotaging out tactical bombers because hey they're 'bad things that could hurt people'. Well, that's the reason we have them.

There is no evidence whatsoever that Snowden sold the material that he collected to anyone.

That's true but giving it away for free doesn't make it any better. It's one thing to reveal domestic spying of ordinary citizens, it's another to reveal everything he did.
The fact that he may be a "true believer" doesn't make it any better. Treason due to moral beliefs or for monetary gain is still treason.
