Gotham : Hope I don't OFFEND anyone, but…

I REALLY can't stand Jada P. Smith!! She brings NOTHING to the show, and she OVERREACTS in EVERY scene she's in. I'm so sick of the character and the actress b/c now she's back it's like JPS MADE sure these dumbass writers are giving her WTF she wants enough already, her character NEVER appealed to me from the start !! KILL her off for good PLEASE !!

"Are you talking to me?" LOL - I'm the Original Poster who started this topic and YES I'm very well aware that many other posters/viewers could GAFF about her pain in the butt. I guess it my WISHFUL thinking that Jada Smith moved on from this television show and just decided to produce, direct, etc., somewhere else; but NO such luck. Anyway, yeah I don't often comment on the boards - I usually just read everyone's theories about the show. I love this show - its GREAT!!! I ADORE the cast - except for one as you know Smith's character OF COURSE!

She has been a problem since the show started, just don't like her

That's a really wild assumption you're suggesting that the producers of a TV show always do what the fans actually want? They never make mistakes?

All you can know for sure is that someone high up in the production chain likes either Jada Pinkett Smith or the character. I've worked on TV shows - the directors and producers do whatever the f they want, it doesn't matter how many people are standing around them telling them it's a bad idea.

Agree completely. Pretty much everyone agrees with you, actually.

I feel the exact opposite. Gotham's villains have always been known for being over the top and eccentric and Fish Mooney fits that bill 100%. I can easily see her as part of Batman's rogue gallery.

I don't like Fish either, and I was happy when she got killed off. But I don't think she got brought back because somebody thought she'd be good for the show. I bet it had something to do with JPS's contract. Maybe her agent managed to work out a deal, to get her back on the show, or something. I'll bet anything that's the reason she's back.

Because it sure doesn't have anything to do with her popularity.

@ihe so essentially you don't understand how people can have an opinion that's different than yours? Opinions are formed by a wide variety of factors, including past experiences and yes, preconceptions.

I realize you're very young, but you will have to realize that people will often have widely different opinions on practically every issue and person under the sun. And that's not a bad thing, necessarily. It'll lead to to discussion, argument (hopefully civil) communication and an exchange of ideas are always good things.

Lastly, I've found that that HOW people argue about something that's important to them, speaks volumes about the type of people they are. Do they attack; become profane and hostile; make the argument personal; walk away? Or can they argue their points in a calm, mature, logical manner? Avoid the former, and embrace the latter.

This worthless Fish character is dragging this season down and it's only the 2nd episode! There isn't one solitary redeeming value to the character. Where did the creators come up with the idea that viewers wanted this character to return?! Her and her goofy little blonde haired sidekick need to be killed off PERMANENTLY meaning FOR GOOD, so we can start to get somewhere story-wise again!

I love Fish and Jada is doing a great job with what she has to work with.however i think its time they move on to some new blood.

I got nothing against Jada (loved her as Naomi in The Matrix movies), but I do hate Fish. Unfortunately, there's are a bunch of dumbasses out there that assume that just because you hate an actor/actress' character that you hate them because of their race or gender.

People are so dramatic. Fish is great and fits in with the rogue gallery. She's no more outlandish than anyone else.
