Split : I once read somewhere that….(spoiler)

Night uses the color red in certain scenes as a warning that something terrible is about to happen. After reading this, I watched both The Visit and this film to see if this is true. I don't really recall seeing it in The Visit, but I did see the color red on objects in the background of scenes in this film. But this was in suspenseful as well as non-suspenseful scenes, so I can't really tell if it's true about his use of the color red. Thoughts?

It seems like there was something about the use of the color red in The Sixth Sense. I can't remember if it was used as a warning, or if it signified the presence of spirits, or what. Try looking at the trivia section for that movie.

In The Sixth Sense, I believe the red signified death. There's another thread for Split where someone talks about yellow in this film.
