Working girl is actually the politically correct term, not the "perverted" term. In the PC world, there are words we use as euphemisms to sound less insulting.

For example fat = curvy, fuller figure, curvaceous.
ugly = visually challenged
short = vertically challenged

You wouldn't call people fat or ugly. It's rude. It's not polite to call someone a prostitute or whore either. Thus the 'working girl' euphemism. Much more polite.

I think she herself is ok, and even maybe can deliver some solid performance. It's just the setting of her role that goes beyond absurdity, because I find neither her psychological development nor the trust laid on her from Jason convincing, to the slightest degree.

Pamela Landy would be more convincing in her place, as long as the cliffhanger ending was rid of, but that's impossible as Landy belongs to the past.
