31 : I just don't understand….

How did this movie have to get re-written 3 times to get a rated R level I've seen PG-13 with more blood and guts than this Such a disappointing movie I was so excited for this movie too, it didn't even have any jump or turn away gruesome moments. Such a bad movie

I just watched and I was thinking the same thing. This movie was by far his tamest. Even his remake of Halloween was more intense. Hands down his worst film to date.

The NC-17 director's cut with all the goodies is on the way, so keep an eye out for that

Doubtful since the film was shot in a way to hide most of the violence, or to make an excuse for sub-par effects.

They're a rule of thumb for the rating system in the US. It works like this; Tie a woman down; fine. Tie a woman down, stab her in the gut; fine. Tie a woman down, stab her in the gut, set her on fire; fine. Tie a woman down, stab her in the gut, set her on fire, rape her; you crossed the line for rape.

No. No you didn't. PG13 movies are virtually bloodless. I've seen TV shows with more blood n guts than any PG13 movie. ie: Walking Dead, Blindspo, Blacklist.
