La La Land : I didn't see this film coming

I came to the cinema very, very skeptical. Those really hyped films very rarely actually live up to their hype, specially in my terms. As i absolutely loved Whiplash by Chazelle, i was expecting it to be a just a little romance movie with some cool music, nothing more than that. I really didn't expect it to be this good, and i certainly didn't hope i'd like it more than Whiplash.
I'd recommend that everyone watches it before they can form an opinion, this film might surprise you a lot.

I've seen ten times now. I recommend seeing it in IMAX if you get the chance.

Well it came out in IMAX and went so fast, I almost missed it. I'd see it again in IMAX if I could, but for now I'll settle for the Dolby Cinema this weekend.

I have seen it six times, once in IMAX. It is great. Whiplash is so different than La La Land. That is what makes a great director; not doing the same movie over and over again.

Whiplash is intense from the first scene until the final frame. Whiplash is more laid back and carefree.
