Although anyone with an ounce of common sense would realize that since LLL does not qualify as an ensemble, it cannot be nominated, your theory is fatally flawed. I normally couldn't care less about awards but I am going to personally call you our after this wins the Oscar.

His point is valid. La La Land is not eligible for the ensemble SAG because it is not an ensemble, therefore the correlation is irrelevant in this instance.

"Ineligible" means something is officially ruled out by not meeting a set of standards. That's a non-issue here.

It does not meet the standards of an ensemble. There is no main cast aside from the two leads. John Legend is the closest to a supporting part in the film, and he's barely in it. Two actors do not make an ensemble. It does not qualify.
