La La Land : Is the Warner's Coffee Shop "Real"?

Is the Warner's Coffee Shop "Real"?

Although I've lived in LA all my life, I'm not in the industry, don't know anyone who works at Warners and still haven't done the tour (*bucket list*). So, is the caf "real" or just a caf set?

I seriously doubt it. The coffee shop seems like a throwback to classic Hollywood movies.

Theres one in Universal

I'm not sure but I think the coffee shop is the set for Luke's diner from Gilmore Girls. It also looked like Miss Patty's dance studio was beside it. I might be wrong, though.

I used to work on the WB lot. That cafe isn't real, it's a facade that they change around every so often for whatever show/movie they're shooting. There are real restaurants/cafes on lot, but this isn't one of them. This facade is also smaller in real life than on camera.

Thanks! It looked like a set, but then I thought, it would be convenient to turn a former set into a real coffee shop! LOL.
