The Flash : So why did Cisco want barry to tell the team about flashpoint?

What was the point of it? Was it so the team should distrust him?

because cisco is hurt and wants to hurt barry. and barry being forced into admitting he *beep* things up is hurting barry.

not that hard to understand and not really any supervillain plan behind it.

Cisco did the exact same thing to Caitlin, he wants honesty amongst Team members and friends

"Honesty amongst team members and friends" actually isn't a bad thing. At the same time it's not like Barry was never gonna tell them, just until after the mission so they could all think about it.

Why would they automatically Trust future Barry over present Barry. I mean a lot can happen in 40 years. For all they know, Barry has lost his damned mind and murdered them all by that point.
