They need large open spaces to run and play and the park has that for them.
It's lazy for a parent to just let them play out in front of their house in the neighborhood where they are running unsupervised and into their neighbor's spaces.
You always control your kids?!
Are there serial killers in your neighbourhood?
Anyhow, forest is even better than the park.
In the park is nonsense nearly impossible.

Kids get in trouble when they are unsupervised running around. That's any child.

I fell only once out of a tree and landed softly in the swamp.
Dirty swamp, need to add, cause the biggest danger was our mother.
