The most common botfly is the Cuterebra fontinella, which is reported to occur in most of the continental US (except Alaska), plus southern Canada and northeastern Mexico.

Note: Google is your friend.



PS Dermatobia hominis, the human botfly, is found in Central and South America, from Mexico to Northern Argentina, excluding Chile.
