Kroogs didn't sell his soul. Depending on what you take as canon, he was either just really pissed off, his body wasn't buried, or dream demons picked a dude who was really heinous to give powers to. They may not have even been demons in the Judeo Christian sense.

Kroogy's hate comes from his fucked up childhood. He hates the happiness of youth because his youth was not happy. Fuckin orphan who was raised by abusive foster parents and the genetics of some random maniac. Didn't have filmboards to release that hatred.

Sick thing about ghosting it is, you’d see all your kids and relatives and friends having sex and looking at porn. You’d see them pooping and doing drugs. It’s hard being a ghost, seeing the world for what it truly is.
