GRRM agrees, he said the first season should have 167 episodes and take 15 years to finish writing, covering only the events leading up to Rhaenyras deflowering, which would make a good 7 episode special.

I wouldn't mind seeing Barristan Selmy at his best. Throw in the war of the nine penny kings with barry slaying Maelys Blackfyre in single combat and i'm sold.

I don't think Barriston was really that big a guy. Not familiar with this dude but from the pics you posted I can see it. Love to see it, I find that history with the Blackfyres to be the most interesting of all the GOT lore.

A show about Aegons Conquest has little appeal for me, very boring. A show about Corlys seems like the kind of franchise killing **** that Disney+ is doing with ****shows for Marvel like She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel now, or all the Star Wars content they are ****ting out that I also have no interest in. Corlys has already been cancelled, so there's that.
Ten-Thousand Ships may be okay, but it's so far removed from the Targaryen era that I really don't care. Almost like some generic **** that doesn't really matter. Think it's been cancelled too.
Don't know anything about fleabottom show, but sounds horrible. Why? No thanks. But doesn't matter, since apparently only D&E is still on the table from what's listed, other than the Snow show which is absolutely going to happen. I want the Blackfyre ****, and I want it now. Hope they don't actually try making them black, too.
I will keep an open mind for any show until I see it. I was 100% sure HOTD was going to suck and hard, so I was quite surprised that I find it GOT season1-4 level good, maybe better.
