Halloween Ends : What's your head canon?

Ok, so I hated this movie, but still like the 2018 one. I still can't believe it's the same people involved, because the quality dropped off big time, but I digress.

I'm still a Myers fan and like many movies in the series. For as many bad movies as there are in the series, we are fortunate enough to still have many to enjoy. Multiple interpretations or timelines too. This is mine:

H1, 2, H20
H1, 2, 4
H1 and 2018

For the Michael Myers storyline:

Halloween (1978)
Halloween 2 (1981)
H20




Halloween 4

Why is 4 floating out there on it's own?

LOL because it's quite a bit lower than my top ratings. And the rest would be way lower.

I am not asking for ratings, I'm asking for "what counts" to you. Do you consider H4 and H20 in the same series?

Yes all of them count except Halloween 3 which wasn't part of the same storyline.

Sorry people tend to use the phrase "head cannon" a lot here which I assume means what "I" think are the films I consider best represent the series.

Is part 3 worth watching in your opinion?

Yes I think it's a fun film on it's own.

Part 3 is a great movie. It only bombed because people were expecting more Myers.

I heard that John Carpenter actually really liked the 3rd Movie.

Oh, interesting. You put 4 with the JLC movies? 4, 5, and 6 always felt different imo. 4 is the only one I think is half decent, but even then it doesn't fit with 1,2, and H20 imo. It has grown on me over the years though.
