Inferno : Inferno flops big time because Hanks mocked Trump

from what i remember he didnt mock trump supporters until after sully had already been out in theaters on saturday night live and the other reason that it didn't bomb is CLINT EASTWOOD aka a republican in liberal hollywood even they can't mess with.

Plus he is a great director and it got great reviews on RT which some people constantly use to go see their movies by .

the really bad thing about this flopping was in virtually had no competition, i mean all you got is 2nd week Madea????Which the critics killed and is getting bad reviews from movie goers as well. Just imagine if a decent horror movie had came out this weekend , it could have been alot worse for inferno ,alot worse.

Not everyone will vote.

Of those that vote, Trump will be lucky to get anything approaching 35%. That 35% will NOT be 35% of Americans, just of those that vote.

No one goes to a movie or avoids a movie because of the political views of the actor or director. Not for a movie like this.

Sure they'll go to or avoid a political movie like Michael Moore's Trumpland.

People WILL avoid movies for other reasons. That's why Mel Gibson hasn't been able to work for a decade. It's not his politics. But his antisemitism, alcoholism and plain old insanity killed his career. It's also killing the Trump brand franchise, with women boycotting not only Ivanka but the stores that stock her. Macy's dropped Trump. People with money are avoiding Trump's golf courses and hotels. It's not because Trump is a Republican. It's because he's a racist, a misogynist and a ranting, angry, bigoted lunatic with a 200 word limited vocabulary. It's because he's a raving psychopathic narcissist.

Inferno simply isn't as good a film as The DaVinci Code or Angels and Demons. I still enjoyed it. If there's a fourth movie, I'll go see that too.

I'm seeing Madea's BOO! tomorrow. I'm sure I'll enjoy that as well as I enjoy Tyler Perry's Madea movies.
