My best guess is that she is getting to an age where soon she won’t be able to get people interested in her because of her looks, so she is doing things to get people talking about her as she attempts a restart of her career. Megan Fox is doing the same thing now.

And she’s not very talented and since she took all that time off to have kids, her window of opportunity is fast closing, so she has to get what she can while the getting is good because in 5 years or less she won’t be in demand at all once her looks fade.

I was watching my favorite videos she made and I saw a pattern with her.
I think this entire controversy about her father keeping control of her money is all publicity. I think Britney and her family are doing this for attention. Honestly, the last time I saw her perform was a clip of her Vegas show. I wanted to go but couldn't. Still, she just looked tired and all out of ideas. She was basically dancing the same choreography that is her trademark. She's getting very close to the end of her dancing. Even prima ballerinas retire around her age.
She wasn't a good singer either.
She can get attention this way. It buys her some time where she doesn't have to work.
