No clue if he’s under 5’8 but I just assume celebs do this.

They do it because people the number influences perception and perception is what makes up their brand. Awhalburg modeled for CK. Models, because they model clothes in photos, tend to be better when they’re taller. I’d imagine he put forth an inflated but believable number back then and kept it later in his career for consistency’s sake.

Idk about that. He’s really short for a model but that’s because models are like 6’1 and thin. Mark was billed at 5’8 and jacked. He was atypical in that industry but not in Hollywood, where they often employ short but attractive or charismatic dudes like cruise, Pacino, etc

Naw, those are the exceptions. The Vast majority of Hollywoods are tall.

Mark isnt the only big short Model or as you say actor that are big but when you go into the industry it is easy for them to cross you out because of your size.
