Immigrant nation we may be, but we expect integration. Everyone who comes here to make it their home should be intending to become an American.

Europe and its struggle with Islam is a great example of the dangers of not integrating.

Multiculturalism means cultures co-existing. It doesn't mean integration. It's a bad idea.

There’s obvious benefits from multiculturalism in terms of entertainment (food, drink, music etc) and in terms of general industry too.

In the UK we gain an awful lot from all the Asians for example who work very hard and become top doctors, lawyers or achieve high academic status.

It should be limited and controlled though. A country should have a primary identity - it shouldn’t be a free for all.

It is interesting that the left wish to integrate societies that seem repelled by our own. When it comes to women and homosexuals freely being beheaded in Iran as an example, the left are left chasing their tail.

What does importing things have to do with anything? If you import things, whatever they may be, people will arrive from the exporting countries; and for all sorts of reasons.

Why is it only important for white countries to become multicultural? Why aren't we pushing for greater diversity in Burkina Faso, or Kazakhstan? There are nowhere near enough Irish bars in Ghana.

Maybe you could argue the Britain of today is itself similar. Politically, it's under the control of the UK, but there are only a few places where you can exist in isolation from third world cultures.

Why wait to retire? Do you have money? Are you a qualified professional? Westerners with either financial capital or expertise of some kind are always welcome in the third world. We're just usually not stupid enough to go there.
