Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull : Did anybody actually see this in a theater?

Did anybody actually see this in a theater?

Was there anybody else in the theater? Were you happy when you walked out?

Re: Did anybody actually see this in a theater?

I believe I did.
I liked it. The whole swinging in the trees thing almost ruined it but I still enjoyed.

Re: Did anybody actually see this in a theater?

I was a huge fan of the original movies and went to the theatre to see Crystal Skull on opening night. I was enthusiastic and, as it turns out, I was naive. Reboots almost never live up to the originals, but I was hopeful that, at the very least, it would make for a decent stand-alone movie. I walked out within minutes, but it was too late… I'd been violated on a fundamental level. Sometimes, on those especially cold and dark nights, I can still taste that bitterness on the back of my tongue and I know deep down that I'll never be rid of the Crystal Skull.

Proudly offering too-close encounters since 1977.

I did and I actually liked it.

Re: Did anybody actually see this in a theater?

The theatre was pretty packed when I saw it and the audience loved all the call-backs to the original films, they cheered when Sean Connery’s picture was shown. I enjoyed the movie at the time, but over the years I realized how problematic it was.

MOST SADLY, MOST REGRETTABLY and MOST UNFORTUNATELY, . IT SUCKED!!

"THAT'S SOME BAD SHIT, HARRY!".

Re: Did anybody actually see this in a theater?

I did. The excitement I felt at the time did not override the silliness of the plot.
