Religion, Faith, and Spirituality : Noah's Ark was discovered a long time ago.

Noah's Ark was discovered a long time ago.

It shows exact measurements, but they didn't dig it all up, as maybe it was spoiled from the lava? They used metal detectors and found the exact shape that way, too, because metals must have been holding it together.

I had said I want to see proof of things in the Bible because people all swear they have to be factually correct, like the story of Creation. This is good for me. Maybe, they didn't know the whole world.

What if the sky was made in less than a day?

Noah's Ark is one of the least believable stories in the bible, right behind the talking snake. I'm surprised you ever figured out that Santa wasn't real.

"one would expect Answers in Genesis to leap eagerly at such a discovery, yet they provide a pretty detailed dismissal of his findings." "When AIG shies away from something, it's a pretty good indicator that it's broken on through to the other side of crazy."

Noah's Ark is more likely to be a space ship. No Earth built vessel could have carried that many animals, birds, insects, etc.

Upon what empirical examples of extraterrestrial vessels do you base this assertion?

There's no reason to look for Noah's Ark to be something other than what it's depicted as being in the narrative. It is, after all, just a story. Stories of this sort do not have the burden of being true in any sense; they do not have to make sense.
