Directors : Kubrik
Stanley Kubrik
If you're referring to Stanley Kubrick, He died of natural causes. He passed away from a heart attack while asleep on March 7, 1999. Not a bad way to die. He was 71.
The film industry lost a giant that night, as he was the greatest film director of all time.
PS And imho, 2001: A Space Odyssey is the greatest film of all time. It's the only film I have ever given a rating of 10/10. It's a transcendental film which changed forever how films are made, and how we watch them.
😺 Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't. 🤨 Let's go, Brandon! 🤨 Try that in a small town.

I knew "the cat guy" would fill us in.
Stanley Kubrik
"Cat guy"!

Yes that is ye. The Cat Guy.
Stanley Kubrik
Yep, that's me, the Schrodinger Cat Guy. Are you familiar with Mr. Schrodinger's cat?

Stanley Kubrik- HE HAD WEAK POINTS
Most experts agree he had weak points. The most serious was that he failed to cast Suki Waterhouse in EWS or any other movie for that matter.
Waterhouse is a living goddess.

Stanley Kubrik- HE HAD WEAK POINTS
Everyone has weak points. It proves that they're human. He's still the GOAT, though.
Meanwhile, I had never heard of Suki Waterhouse until just now. What makes you think Kubrick should have cast her in anything?
BTW, I don't view her, or anyone else, as a "living goddess", but even if I did, that would not qualify her as a quality actress. And btw, Google lists her as "model", not actress.

Waterhouse has been in most movies. She was in an LTR with Bradley Cooper.
The "Goddess" part was not me. Society in general gave her that moniker.

Stanley Kubrik- HE HAD WEAK POINTS
What do you mean by "Waterhouse has been in most movies."? She's been in a total of 36.
Nicole Kidman, on the other hand, has been in 85 films and won a Best Actress Oscar for her role in the 2002 film The Hours. Waterhouse has never even been nominated for an Oscar.
Seems to me that Kubrick made a wise casting decision there.

And your point being? No one is perfect. Nevertheless, Kubrick is definitely one of the greatest. He was a visionary who inspired so many filmmakers and pretty much every film schools talk about him to this day.
He is my third favourite director of all times, the first two being Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese. They are the three major filmmakers who made me fall in love with cinema.

Re: Kubrik
Kubrick is one of the most influential film directors in history now. His popularity with film fanatics grew tenfold within the last 10 years. I don't remember how he died.
