The Snyder Cut is going to be over 3 and a half hours long? That is over an hour more than the original release, which was already hard to sit through.

Seems like it guesate, I'v heard rumours that they might split it into a short TV series to maximise their bang per buck.

That wouldn't be what the fans wanted. The Snyder Cut was supposed to be the completed movie that was Zack Snyder's original vision, and partitioning it into a show would probably require extensive edits to the structure of the story. It would be something else entirely.
