tbf it was Kurt's cover song which is one of my favourites on the whole Unplugged album that made me aware of Lead Belly. i heard that Kurt's song is a cover, so i checked out the original song. and bc i also liked the original, i got interested in more songs from the artist and became a fan. i'm not really well versed in the whole blues genre, just happen to like a few artists. Nina Simone is another blues artist i'm into.

Absolutely! I listen to music a lot, especially if I'm in transit, exercising, cleaning and cooking. I'm glad you check out "what are you listening to" thread even though sometimes it gets a bit LOUD and vicious! I'm loving this thread, too.
