Resident Evil: The Final Chapter : Apocalypse easily THE WORST in the series.

This movie was just purely cheesy, full of holes, inconsistencies, and was simply uninteresting.

It also suffered heavily from being a product of the early 2000's.

The first movie at least tried to take itself somewhat seriously. This? Was a joke. I've always liked the RE Franchise, but this this movie is hard to watch.

At least Afterlife had some cool sequences and Retribution had great action scenes. Apocalypse was just dull and too over the top as a Resident Evil film. Too much action. Afterlife and Retribution had the plus of having good pacing and sequencing.

To this day, Apocalypse is still one of the worst movies that I've ever seen in a theater. It's right up there with Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, which is also an abysmal sequel to an okay Paul WS Anderson movie. As bad as he seems, he always manages to pass it off to someone that's worse, though he was still of course heavily involved with the Resident Evil franchise.

Apocalypse is still better than Retribution

Worst is easily the last chapter due to its terrible editing and poor cinematography. Before that i hesitated between the third one whatever it was call and retribution Retribution just has no story and feel like a video game but not in a good sense. And not in a way to do justice to the RE games. The clone fest is all over and idiotic.

The third one i just hated it entiraly they *beep* up the story completely at that point, with no possibility to redeem it. Wesker was a joke, the Tyrant speaking lol the super power where exeptionally ridiculous.

Honestly the first one is not a bad movie in itself but it just have no link to the resident evil name beside "Umbrella" , thats what bothers me, but its a decent zombie flick. The second one at least TRIED to get closer to the game, even tough it failed in the end because Jill is nothing more than a glorified side kick and Nemesis with emotions no thanks lol. Oh and all the names they butchered Nicolai and Ashford.. ouch. BUT again as a zombie flick it wasn't too bad and at least IN DESIGN the Nemesis looked like the Nemesis



Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!

DudeI thought The Final Chapter was one of the best in the series hands down. The Final Chapter at least had the plus of being raw, gritty and real compared to the last two outings. Retribution was a complete CGI-fest. The editing was a little fast paced, so what? It felt refreshing and different. Retribution felt too much like Afterlife. It wasn't different enough as a sequel and that was disappointing so it was nice to see The Final Chapter really deviate from the previous ones like it did.

It was subtitled "The Final Chapter" for a reason spoiler: they're out of ideas.

Extinction and Retribution are the worst in the series hands down. The only good thing about Retribution is Alice getting het ass beat by Jill. The first 2 movies were good to a certain degree and Afterlife had its good moments and bad. The Final Chapter was too dark and editing cut to *beep* Wtf happened to Chris Leon, Ada, ect. Reboot this shyt!

I think Apocalypse is quite good, not as good as the first movie but still quite decent and hands down the most faithful to the games, it's very similar to Resident Evil 2/Resident Evil 3 games.

Extinction is where they lost the plot and took a bad direction. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I've not yet met anyone in person who considers Apocalypse to be the worst movie.

Most people consider the first two the best, and Afterlife/Retribution usually fight for the crown of 'worst' movie, though I'm hearing a lot of people now say Final Chapter is the worst (I agree).

Considering Apocalypse the worst in the franchise is a valid opinion but it's definitely in the minority.

You have awful taste in movies. I'll give you credit for ranking the first and third films high but you clearly love the video games too much to accurately describe the RE films. I wouldn't trust your opinion worth a crap on the films. Games..maybe, films..no fcking way.

I won't loose any sleep over it. I like the games but I prefer the movies, it's nothing to do with faithfulness to the games.

I'm a disgruntled film and franchise fan, not a disgruntled games fan when it comes to my appraisal of the movies.

I thought Resident Evil: Damnation and Resident Evil: Degeneration were quite bad, and they are based more in the game world.

Apocalypse is the best in the series.

Apocalypse is most closer to game (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis).
Afterlife is most pointless.
Retribution is most twisted and crazy.
Extinction and The Final Chapter are best story-driven.
Genesis is the best atmosphere and feeling.
