I was in an empty chatroom and I posted a link to a website that I have. Why did I post it in an empty chatroom? I guess so I could click on it to go there, which would have been easier than typing it in my browser.
Right then, my website gets 12 hits. Right after I post it in an empty chatroom where "no one" but me saw it.
There are 12 IPs there. A lot of them are the same, with only the last number being different, which is indicative of a spam bot from the same organization.
I check the different IPs and some were from Google, Mountain View Ca - where the headquarters is. Google spies on you a LOT - particularly if you have Google Chrome.
And then I get Amazon Technologies, Inc from Asburn Virginia where their headquarters is.
It's scary. And then, when my friend entered, I told her "Google is spying on us" and right then, the Google IP immediately left my website. I can imagine them saying "Oh shit!" before running out the room.
I have proof Big Brother watches our computers.
