What kind of coffee do you buy from the store?

I can't stand the basic stuff like Folger's and Maxwell House. It tastes like crap to me. I figure most people who buy those brands, aren't really coffee lovers.

I like dark roast, with hints of chocolate. Strong and bold. I go for the French or Italian roasts. I'll opt for Peet's, Seattle's Best, and Starbucks.

Sometimes on the flap you may find "a blend of beans from…"

Truly expensive coffee comes from one plantation, not a blend. So if you're drinking coffee with beans grown in Columbia and some in Peru, with a different climates and growing conditions, you're not getting authentic coffee taste.
